    Abstract:
The liver plays an important role in regulating lipoproteins, which are responsible for the transport and storage of lipids in the body. Liver diseases, such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), can alter lipoprotein metabolism and composition. There are five main classes of lipoproteins: chylomicrons, VLDL, LDL, IDL and HDL. Each one has different characteristics and lipid composition. In this work, the lipoprotein profile of patients with NASH was studied and it was observed that the lipoprotein set characteristic of NASH is a consequence of it and can serve as a diagnosis.
