Effects of intermittent fasting and caloric restriction on intestinal microbite in obese mice

Abstract:
In this study, the effect of different dietary interventions on the intestinal microbiota of obese mice was investigated. The mice were divided into groups fed a hypercaloric diet and caloric restriction, with subgroups subjected to different intermittent fasting regimens. Differences in microbial diversity and structure were evaluated using Shannon indices and principal component analysis. In addition, the taxa with significant changes in abundance were identified using the ANCOM-BC method. These tools made it possible to compare the profiles of the microbiota in response to dietary interventions.
