The financial analysis of Inditex and its commitment to the 2030 Agenda

Abstract:
This project consists of the financial analysis of Inditex and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Data for the analysis of the economic and financial structure have been extracted from the consolidated annual accounts balance sheets for the fiscal years 2022 and 2023. For the calculation of financial equilibrium and the correlation of asset masses, it has been considered the period 2020 to 2023 from the fiscal year. Subsequently, various ratios have been analyzed to evaluate the structure of debt, liquidity, and profitability, both financial and economic, using the aforementioned data and the income statement for the fiscal years 2022 and 2023. Finally, the theoretical part of the project addresses the environmental impact of the textile industry, Inditex's level of commitment to the SDGs, its annual objectives, and the measures adopted to achieve them.
