Abstract:
Nursing, detection and approach to victims of domestic violence: bibliographical review. Main goal: Analyze the articles and papers published between 2003 and 2014 on the knowledge and tools available to nursing professionals for the detection and therapeutic approach to gender violence and its legislation. Methodology: literature review of publications of the last 7 years made in databases: PubMed, Cuiden and Dialnet plus. Main results: 50 articles were obtained, of which 32 were discarded, finally resulting in a total of 18 publications; of these 3 focus on the current legislation, 11 relate to protocols and assessment scales and 5 address the degree of knowledge of nurses. Main conclusion: You have found a very small number of articles on gender-based violence and the performance of health, being in their majority action protocols and scales of assessment aimed at professionals in primary and emergencies, wich illustrate the main role of the health profesion.
