    Abstract:
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a disorder with a high prevalence in Spain. People with BPD present severe and complex symptoms that often cause them to experience exacerbations that require urgent attention. In this case, nursing plays a fundamental role and the lack of specific training in Mental Health can influence the development of coping skills. Emergency nursing staff may not have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively provide care to people with BPD in crisis, with the consequent risk of providing ineffective care to the user.
