  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:8180
    Authors:  Cantón Cordeiro, Tomás
    Abstract:
This study analyzes the gut-bone axis, investigating how gut microbiota and metabolites influence bone health. Through a systematic review based on the PRISMA methodology and automation tools some key interactions were identified, such as the role of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG strain in modulating metabolic pathways related to estrogen homeostasis. The results highlight the importance of the gut-bone axis and suggest that modulating the gut microbiota could be a promising strategy to prevent and treat osteoporosis.
