Abstract:
ABUSE AND DISABILITY IN MINORS ABSTRACT Currently the company does not show sufficient awareness of the vulnerability that may occur in children under age with intellectual disabilities to abuse because you do not act accordingly to the magnitude of the issue. Therefore, social awareness and developing preventive for reducing existing stereotypes and situations of abuse and inequality that may eventually produce action is necessary. This paper presents a literatura and document review that focuses in the analysis of the factors that increase vulnerability to abuse, the consequences thereof, the characteristics of perpetrators of sexual abuse and in areas where ore often this type of abuse occurs. Where we have seen how the relationship between childhood and disability, and that in turn increases the risk of abuse. We can conclude as there is a positive relatioship between disability suffered by minors and child abuse that come to suffer. So it is essential to be aware of the need to know what reality we face, trying to respond to the needs of abused children in the most appropriate way, and so therefore respond to the relationship between disability they suffered by minors and child abuse that come to suffer.
