    Abstract:
The injury of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) requires effective rehabilitation to restore muscular strength, mobility, and control pain. Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) has emerged as an innovative technique that improves recovery with reduced loads. This review analyzes its efficacy in patients who have undergone ACL surgery, comparing it to other treatments. The results indicate that BFR helps to preserve muscle mass and increases strength, particularly with an arterial occlusion pressure of 80%. However, its effect on pain is variable. It is recommended to combine it with other strategies and establish optimal protocols.
