    Abstract:
Randomized clinical trial with 17 football players to assess the effect of Focused Vibration at 140 Hz on the activation of the Vastus Medialis of the Quadriceps. Participants performed an exercise session with or without vibration (intervention group vs. placebo). No statistically significant differences were found between groups, although the intervention group showed non-significant improvements in forefoot and instep shots. It is concluded that a single session of Focused Vibration does not produce significant changes in muscle activation measured by electromyography.
