    Abstract:
Epilepsy is a chronic brain disease that occurs mostly with repeated convulsive crises over time that can cause acquired brain damage, with consequences both at the motor and cognitive levels and on the quality of life of people with epilepsy. These crises occur due to a hyperexcitability of neurons, this may be due to a lesion in the brain, some health condition or unknown cause.
