    Abstract:
    Protein supplementation, especially whey protein (WP) and soy protein (SP), is used to enhance muscle recovery and performance. WP is more effective in increasing strength, protein synthesis, and lean mass due to its high leucine content. In contrast, SP shows more variable results, although it can be useful for vegetarian athletes or those seeking sustainable alternatives. While WP is the best option for muscle recovery, SP may offer benefits in certain contexts, and further research is needed to compare their effects.
