    Abstract:
Our Bachelor's Degree Final Project is a systematic review that analyzes the effectiveness of aquatic therapy in the rehabilitation of patients with stroke (CVA). Stroke can cause significant motor deficits in the lower limbs, affecting gait, balance, and autonomy. Common consequences include hemiplegia, spasticity, and proprioceptive disorders. Physiotherapy, within an interdisciplinary approach, is key to functional recovery. In this context, hydrotherapy emerges as a promising intervention, thanks to the properties of water that promote movement, improve muscle tone, balance, and proprioception.
