    Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Women's basketball has experienced an increase in lower limb injuries, particularly to the anterior cruciate ligament, often due to factors such as dynamic valgus and a lack of lumbopelvic and core stability. The aim of this study is to compare the percentage of asymmetry in the lower limbs during vertical and horizontal single-leg jumps, between basketball players with previous anterior cruciate ligament injuries and those without such injuries. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A cross-sectional descriptive observational study conducted between June 2024 and May 2025. The participants were female basketball players over 18 years of age. The main variables were: ankle stability, knee dynamic valgus, lumbopelvic stability, core stability, and asymmetry between the lower limbs. The tests used were: Single Leg Vertical Jump and Single Leg Hop for Distance. RESULTS: The main alterations observed in the Single Leg test.
