    Authors:  Ruano Matea, Laura
    Abstract:
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type I (CRPS-I) is a chronic, painful and complex neurological condition that mainly affects the extremities. Despite limited evidence, physiotherapy is a fundamental component in its management. This systematic review assessed its effectiveness. It analysed 8 studies and concluded that conventional physiotherapy is effective in reducing pain and improving function. Techniques such as TENS, mirror therapy and pain exposure therapy are effective, especially in subacute or chronic phases. PEMF therapy did not provide additional benefits. Physiotherapy is key and effective within an individualised approach
