Abstract:
This pilot study evaluated the effectiveness of an online physiotherapy exercise program in people with temporomandibular joint disc dislocation. Adults with a clinical diagnosis participated, divided into a control and intervention group for 4 weeks. In the sample, the intervention group showed a trend towards improvement. It concludes that the program was not effective, although the results suggest potential utility for future research in the physiotherapeutic treatment of this dysfunction.
