Abstract:
This work presents a Health education program design about smoking addressed to the campus Terres de l’Ebre students, from the Rovira i Virgili University. It would be executed by primary care nursing. At present, smoking is a very important public health problem in developed countries, and responsible of many diseases and deaths. The objectives of this project are aware the students of the harmful effects of smoking to the health, reduce the number of new additions to this habit and reduce the present prevalence of smokers. For this, the program has 7 activities to do along the academic course 2016-2017 at campus Terres de l’Ebre, to each class separately. In the work, before explain the activities, there is a conceptual frame that explains the present public health problem around tobacco and its evolution, and also introduce the program receivers and the health education concept.
