Purpose-Driven Fashion: Corporate Activism in B Corp Textile Companies in Spain

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:9109
    Authors:  Kasperek, Janina
    Abstract:
This Final Degree Project explores how textile companies certified as B Corps in Spain integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate activism into their business models. Through a qualitative and comparative approach, the study combines a theoretical review with an applied analysis of 18 brands in the sector. The research is structured around eight thematic blocks: environment, community, governance, workers, clients, corporate activism, key differentiation, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The theoretical section develops the core concepts of CSR, its main dimensions, the most relevant explanatory models, and the role of certifications such as B Corp. It also analyses corporate activism as a more committed form of corporate responsibility. In the practical section, the real actions of the selected companies are examined, based on official and public information.
