    Abstract:
This project, carried out at Plixxent S.L., focused on developing and optimizing spray polyurethane systems for construction, aiming to enhance performance and reduce formulation costs while meeting CE marking requirements. Four systems were studied: BA-WE2, BA-RF1, BA-RF2 (derived from BA-WE2), and W-M. BA-RF2 was created for roofing and flooring by adjusting polyol and blowing agent ratios. BA-WE2 was adapted to use a co-blowing agent, and W-M was improved for better thermal and mechanical performance. Experimental testing on BA-RF1 and BA-WE2 confirmed compliance with EN 14315-1:2013, supporting the viability of formulation adjustments for cost-effective, application-specific polyurethane design.
