Abstract:
AACLearn is a web application designed to facilitate communication for nonverbal children with autism. Through pictograms, synthesized speech, free drawing, and an interactive alphabet, it allows them to express their needs and emotions in an accessible way. The system was developed using technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, and Pug, prioritizing usability and accessibility. Its design aims to adapt to the specific needs of this group, promoting autonomy and interaction. AACLearn represents a user-centered technological tool to support augmentative and alternative communication.
