Abstract:
This work presents AbocadorsBP, a mobile application intended for the detection, registration and monitoring of illegal landfills using artificial intelligence and geolocation. The application allows users to capture images, identify waste with a YOLOv11 model and send georeferenced reports to a centralized database. The system incorporates interactive maps, statistics and management tools for administrators. The architecture is based on React Native, FastAPI and PostgreSQL, with an optimized AI module. The project stands out for its social and environmental impact, favoring citizen participation and collaboration with local administrations.
