  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:9802
    Authors:  Cumsille Rojas, María Florencia
    Abstract:
This study analyzed the relationship between Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and various characteristics of the menstrual cycle in a sample of 66 women. Menstrual regularity, pain intensity, and cycle-related symptoms were assessed using an online questionnaire and the GAD-7 scale. The results showed greater menstrual symptoms in women with GAD. However, no significant differences were found in cycle regularity or menstrual pain intensity. The findings suggest that anxiety may be primarily related to greater overall menstrual symptoms.
