    Abstract:
This study analyzes the relationship between body dissatisfaction, self-demanding and cognitive flexibility with the symptomatology of eating disorders in adults without a previous diagnosis. The sample, consisting of 105 participants between 18 and 64 years old, completed self-report questionnaires. The results showed that both body dissatisfaction and self-demanding are positively correlated with the symptomatology of EAD, while cognitive flexibility does not have a significant relationship. Women obtained higher scores on EAD and body dissatisfaction. The results indicate that these psychological factors increase vulnerability to risky eating behaviors.
