    Abstract:
Dry needling is one of the techniques most frequently used in clinical practice to treat myofascial pain syndrome. Post-needling pain is the primary adverse effect and is very common among patients. Various modalities combining dry needling with analgesic electrical currents have recently been developed. One potential advantage of dry electropuncture is that it may cause less post-needling pain. The primary objective of this study is to compare post-needling pain across different needling modalities.
