    Authors:  Ruano Miranda, Álvaro
    Abstract:
Low back pain is one of the leading causes of physical disability worldwide. Its onset entails physical, social, psychological, and even economic consequences. Evidence confirms that physiotherapy is the most effective tool for treating symptoms; however, there are currently no studies providing significant evidence to demonstrate which specific treatment is the most effective. Therefore, the aim of this systematic review is to evaluate the efficacy of kinesio taping as a complementary therapy—among various physiotherapy methods—for treating low back pain, in order to determine whether its application helps reduce pain intensity.
