MACsec and MACsec Key Agreement (MKA) implmentation

Resumen: Aquest projecte consisteix a implementar MACsec, un protocol segur que protegeix els enllaços Ethernet punt a punt en una LAN, sobre l'arquitectura automobilística més moderna. L'arquitectura automobilística es basa en una arquitectura zonal, amb diferents mòduls de control distribuïts per tot el vehicle, tots connectats al Mòdul de Control d'Alt Processament (HPCM). Tots aquests enllaços estaran protegits per MACsec, cosa que requerirà la implementació del protocol MACsec Key Agreement (MKA) per a una gestió adequada de les claus, essencial per a l'èxit de la implementació de MACsec. El projecte inclou l'estudi de MKA i MACsec, el desenvolupament de casos de prova per garantir un rendiment adequat i la implementació final en la configuració de l'automoció.; This project involves implementing MACsec, a secure protocol that protects point-to-point ethernet links on a LAN, on the state-of-the-art automotive architecture. The automotive architecture is based on a zonal architecture, with different control modules distributed throughout the vehicle, all connected to the High Processing Control Module (HPCM). All these links will be MACsec protected, requiring the implementation of the MACsec Key Agreement protocol (MKA) for proper key management, essential for the success of the MACsec implementation. The project includes studying MKA and MACsec, developing test cases to ensure proper performance, and the final implementation in the automotive setup.
