Abstract: This qualitative study explores six Spanish travel agencies for women traveling alone. The study aims to understand the current situation of the Spanish tourism offer focused on the female gender, as well as the profile of the consumers of these specialized products. The results show that, although the agencies contribute to the fulfillment of the expectations of women traveling alone through their tourism offer and the focus of their products, there is a deficit in the Spanish tourism sector for this particular segment.
