    Abstract:
Theme parks have developed rapidly in recent years, with sustainability being an emerging issue. This research aims to conduct an analysis of the sustainability reporting approaches of the three most popular German theme parks, the Europa Park, the Phantasialand and the Movie Park Germany. The Movie Park Germany is investigated closer through a case study, with the help of an expert interview. Further research is conducted on the basis of a literature review, and website- and report- based research. After analysing the sustainable approaches and sustainability reporting activities, recommendations for improvement are done.
