Abstract:
Currently the cattle tracks are doodle traces that draw our territory with a big history behind, highlighted for years of transhumance, of territorial and ecological connections, but also social connections. For the cause of the new uses of herd exploitation, most of these trails are not used anymore by the Shepard’s, this is the case of the cattle track that unites Cunit with Saint Coloma of Queralt, named, Cattle track of Saint Coloma. The present documents are willing to know, what’s the history of this trail, it´s importance for the landscape, natural, cultural and architectural value and, this way being able to elaborate some strategies and proposals to give this trail a new use specially at the areas that are less anthropized and on process of banishing. The main goal of this document is to determine actions in order to elaborate a tourist product of this trail, because it´s important to guaranty the preservation of the history of our ancestors and at the same time know why currently we have different habits, festivities and traditions. In the current world the territorial identity in some municipalities is more complicated to be found and be able to explode and preserve an old cattle trail implicating all territorial agents, can help to motivate the population to love, care and preserve, more and better their territory.
