    Abstract: Development of a predictive model for the properties of 5-layer greenhouse films whose methodology was already established in another project for 3-layer structures. The model, based primarily on correlations, predicts properties of this type of films considering nine different resins in order to propose different alternatives. These alternatives include materials that ensure processability during film extrusion or reduce the cost of the final product while maintaining its properties. One of the alternatives considers de replacement of EVA in this sector due to the shortage in the European market. Two different options have been employed: LLDPE with inorganic additives or EBA.
