    Abstract:
Head and neck cancer is a type of pathology that negatively affects the nutritional status of patients who suffer from it. The treatment of the disease and the complications caused by cancer cause difficulty in the individual's intake, which can cause a state of malnutrition in the patient. The nutritional approach provided to patients from the otorhinolaryngology unit of the Joan XXIII Hospital has been evaluated, concluding that it is essential to provide adequate follow-up after treatment, since their nutritional status and quality of life are affected once this has been completed. finalized.
