Abstract:
The energy efficiency of dwellings is one of the most significant conditions when calculating energy consumption. If high energy consumption and low economic resources are combined, it is more likely to result in a home with undesirable thermal conditions, which can lead to health problems and social isolation. This research has opted to recalculate the energy expenditure of each home based on the energy consumption of each of the uses, as well as the creation of new indicators of energy poverty, from which the predictive model for improving energy efficiency can be applied in different scenarios. Finally, it will be possible to find out whether energy poverty is located near the population that suffers most from heat waves and with a low level of education.
