Abstract: This research work explores the challenges that young people in Terra Alta, and by extension in rural areas, face in accessing housing. The study seeks to identify the needs and motivations of young people to stay in their hometowns, their vision of the situation, as well as their proposals to improve the housing situation. The qualitative technique of photovoice was used, where the young people captured images and produced narratives about the current housing situation. Reflection and debate sessions have been held on the complexity of the problem of access to housing and its effect on depopulation.
