    Abstract:
    People with mental disorders express difficulties in their parental role due to different factors beyond the symptoms. The stigma in mental disorders is present throughout the process hindering the role, the health recovery and generating added concerns that interfere with the care process. There are no studies that address this topic in depth in Spain.
