Title in different languages: The DATOS-CAT project: Leveraging OMOP CDM for the standardization, integration and analysis of population-based biomedical data in Catalonia
Abstract: This master's thesis contributes to the DATOS-CAT project by developing guidelines, tools, and protocols to improve the interoperability and visibility of the GCAT cohort and the COVICAT-CONTENT sub-cohort, aligning with FAIR principles and European Commission policies. It defines data flow and evaluates different technologies, addressing key aspects like creating a data catalog and standardizing data to a common model. Two Extract-Load-Transform approaches are evaluated: data engineering tools and semantic technologies. The study emphasizes developing platforms for data discovery and federated analysis while ensuring privacy and security, providing a roadmap for future health project improvements.
