Abstract: This Master Thesis provides all the information on the project “Increase of the value capture of the Cluster AP through operative excellence” done with the company BASF Española. This thesis aims to take a step further towards operative excellence through process optimization, focusing on energy efficiency. It involves preliminary tests, simulation, modelling, and project engineering, starting with an analysis of the current energy situation of the plant, with its optimization and study of different proposals, evaluating the best alternatives to reduce energy consumption and dissipation and serving as a reference to be aware of the importance of resource optimization and continuous improvement.
