    Identifier:  TFM:2155
    Authors:  Cordova Cordova, Jesmyl Elisa
    Abstract:
This research emphasizes the crucial role of hydrogen in global decarbonization but underscores the lack of a singular solution for a fully sustainable hydrogen supply chain. Examining 800 alternatives across six regions, it reveals threats in the current supply chain and highlights the importance of considering future hydrogen transportation. While no technological silver bullet exists, the study demonstrates a wide range of green hydrogen production methods. To meet future demand sustainably, it advocates exploiting current resources, adopting a circular economy, and decentralizing production. Additionally, hydrogen production with Carbon Capture and Storage shows promise for rapid decarbonization.
