    Abstract: 4 different cobalt aminopyridine complexes with different electron-donating or electron-withdrawing groups were synthesized using appropriate glove box and Schlenk line techniques. Once obtained, the catalysts were studied in the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO under light irradiation as well as under darkness in order to better understand the impact of the different moieties on the catalytic process.
