    Abstract:
    This thesis presents a hydraulic and thermal analysis of the cooling water system (CWS) in a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant. A dynamic simulation model was developed in Aspen HYSYS using real operating data and field measurements. The model allows system evaluation under different scenarios, identifying hydraulic imbalances, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. The work provides a reliable tool to support technical decisions, optimize performance, and ensure safe and efficient operation of the CWS in future configurations.
