    Abstract:
Aging increases the risk of falls and compromises functional capacity. This randomized pilot study evaluated the effect of combining action observation and therapeutic exercise on the balance of individuals over 65 years of age with a low or moderate risk of falling. After a 12-week intervention, no statistically significant improvements or between-group differences were observed, although positive clinical trends and high satisfaction were noted. The results may have been influenced by the small sample size and participant characteristics. Therapeutic exercise, whether combined with action observation or not, proved to be a feasible and safe intervention.
