Analysis of patient safety incidents reported by nursing professionals in SNiSP Cat: age, severity, and associated factors in primary care

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFM:2444
    Authors:  Andreu Rufete, Joel
    Abstract:
Patient safety is an essential dimension of the quality of care, particularly in primary care, where the monitoring of chronic patients, pharmacological prescribing, and care coordination are concentrated. In the context of an aging population, older adults may be more vulnerable to the consequences of incidents due to multimorbidity, polypharmacy, frailty, and functional dependence.
