"The digital services act and the concept of legal representative"

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFM:2553
    Authors:  López Pérez, Alejandro
    Abstract:
The aim of this study is to analyze the debate surrounding the concept of legal representative introduced by the DSA, providing readers with a comprehensive overview of the issue. The choice of this topic is motivated by the interest in understanding how the concept of legal representative introduced by the DSA might impact international private law and how it relates with the so-called “Brussels effect”. This may seem bewildering even to legal experts, as it is difficult to conceive that the EU legislator is not fully aware of the impact that legislation might have on the internal market.
