    Abstract:
The minting of coins and the production of greek silver in the colony of Emporion began on the VIth century B.C., and it became adopted shortly after by the colony of Rhode and the different Iberian cultures in the peninsular northeast. In the present paper we will showcase the study of a collection of silver trinkets found in four excavation sites: Mas Castellar, Puig de Sant Andreu, Castellet de Banyoles and Emporion. Through this study we will observe and analyze in detail the precedence and the compositions evolution between the VI and II B.C. centuries, a period where the peninsular northeast is the scenario of a series of contacts between the different Mediterranean civilizations. That translated into an exchange of ideas and the adoption of technological innovations, and that ended with the conquest of this territory during the 2nd Punic War. The present paper verses about the study in the composition and precedence of these objects, using techniques of analytical archaeometry, like X-ray fluorescence and the lead isotopes analysis, with the objective of determining the degree of impact that these civilizations had on the material culture.
