    Abstract:
These are the results of a research which aims to carry out a first approach of the road structures generated in the landscape from the Roman occupation to the end of the antiquity within the Gaià basin (Tarragona). As part of the analysis we have used written sources, historical cartography and archaeological data, reading the different phases of the modification of the space in a regressive exercise that has tried to detect the alterations suffered in a diachronic way. On the other hand, an approach to the practice of ancient livestock is carried out, with its consideration for historical sources and its tracking from the paleoenvironmental register and from the structures created by its mobile nature.
