Abstract: The main objective of this work is to determine whether or not there is environmental justice in the city of Tarragona, in relation to the characteristics of the population, at different inframunicipal scales. For this, we study the quality of urban parks in the municipality, which are characterized by a spatial analysis with our own methodology. The presence of the parks and their quality are related to the sociodemographic characteristics of the area in which they are located, so that the neighborhoods of the city are characterized according to their ease of access to the different parks and their quality. The study concludes that environmental justice can be widely improved given that there are obvious inequalities in the provision and access to urban parks according to the city's areas.
