    Abstract:
The purpose of this Final Master's Project (TFM) is the implement of an electric self-consumption system in a real commercial area of the region of Tarragona and realize an economic and environmental viability analysis. In this project, the current and future energy needs of a real commercial area are studied. Specifically, the project will be located in Les Gavarres, a local commercial area. With the aim of supply the energy needs through renewable energies, a self-consumption system is designed. This system will be responsible for charging batteries for ensuring during all the day electricity. The main electrical consumption of the area will be due to the street lighting installation and some charging points designed for electric vehicles. These charging points will be located in a parking of the area. The self-consumption system will be able of producing most of the needed electricity, but the system will be connected to the grid to be able to supplement the energy generated by the renewable system in the months with lower power generation potential. That self-consumption system will be in an outdoor parking area where the charging points for electric vehicles will be under parking roofs.
