Abstract:
This Final Master Project conducts a study at a legal level of the growing phenomenon of illegal traffic in plastic waste. Through this Project the current context of this form of illegal traffic is exposed, and the aspects of greatest interest of the International Law, the European Union and the Spanish legal system in this matter are analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on the present and future criminal relevance of the illegal traffic in plastic waste, as well as on the effect that the latest regulatory developments on this issue may cause.
