    Abstract: This study determines Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in classrooms of a school in Tarragona from April to June 2021. Passive sampling employed Carbopack X tubes and thermal desorption with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. These values are compared to a study of VOCs performed at the same school in 2019. Nine aldehydes have also been determined in the same school, in houses and in industrial and urban populations, in parallel to VOCs determinations. The sampling of aldehydes was done with Radiello tubes and involved liquid desorption and liquid chromatography with UV detection. Risk values for exposure in outdoor environments have been calculated.
