    Abstract: In this thesis, studied about PV-RO desalination system technology is conducted. The location for this thesis is Madura, Indonesia, due to the potential of solar PV installation. A simulation model for PV-RO desalination system is formulated and show the potential of this technology at Madura’s island. The results are shown on monthly and annual data. The techno-economic analysis also established in this thesis to the described potential installation of this desalination technology at Madura’s island. All the results are showed the PV-RO desalination system is convenient to applicate to Madura’s island and could become one of the solutions to solve the water scarcity issue.
