Evaluación del efecto corrector de la síntesis de lípidos y la hipertensión de extractos ricos en polifenoles

    Resum:
    The proanthocyanidins present in pine, cocoa, and grape extracts induce a decrease in de novo cholesterol synthesis, triglycerides and cholesterol esters in hepatic cells (HepG2). The proanthocyanidins present in the rat serum after the administration GSPE oral doses, could reduce triglycerides synthesis in HepG2. The GSPE (375mg/Kg) has antihypertensive effect at 6 hours post-administration in spontaneously hypertensive rats and rats with SM. The effect is primarily mediated by the release of nitric oxide (NO) and prostacyclin I2, with a slight decrease in oxidative stress in the SHR. The other side GSPE (375mg/kg) decreases hepatic TG synthesis in vivo in an animal model of metabolic syndrome. The GSPE presents simultaneous effect corrector on hepatic lipid synthesis and high blood pressure in an animal model of metabolic syndrome.
