    The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are causing a series of changes in all areas, and is in education where they are more concern. A school competence is to form competent citizens in the use of ICT and the information management. From secondary education, is the teacher who must take on a new role that allows him to launch a range of knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes in order to make better treatment of digital information both from his own practice and that of their pupils. It is what has been called Informational Literacy The aim of this doctoral work is to provide a description of the current level of information literacy of secondary school teachers throughout the Spanish state and as a result of this, propose a plan to accredit the teachers in information literacy.
